Masters Teachers’ Academy is a special training institution of the Schools Division Office of Quezon City designed to support and capacitate teachers who are potential future master teachers in the SDO. The benefits of Master Teachers’ Academy gear towards:

Improving teachers’ skills. Today’s teachers must understand the challenges of meeting the needs of Filipino students which includes enhancing their skills and equipping them with the tools needed to reach students where they are, better engage and manage classes, and improve academic performances of students especially in remote teaching – learning endeavors.

Developing Leadership Skills. One of the major foci of the Academy is to develop leadership skills among teachers. Good leadership in schools is vital for greatly improving the learning outcomes of students.

Mastering craft in the Field. Teachers are experts in the field of education, but teachers who have undergone specialized trainings are known to be more credible and becomes experts in education. This expertise ranges from reviewing and creating new curriculum, developing instructional methods and strategies, innovates classroom teaching tools and aids, conducting action research, and handling educational management concerns.

Epitomizing the character and attitude of a Role Model Teacher. The Academy does not only focus on building and developing the cognitive capacity of teachers but ensure more importantly the character that inspire and influence colleagues to be the best version of themselves.
